Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets, including the website, the Atlassian Forge app for Jira Service Management Assets, and related services we make available with the product. By accessing or using Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility and authority

You may use Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets only if you can form a binding contract and are permitted to use the service under applicable law. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

You may use Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets only in compliance with these terms, applicable law, and the rules of Atlassian services connected to the app, including Jira Service Management, Jira Service Management Assets, Atlassian Forge, and Atlassian Marketplace.

You retain ownership of the data you submit to Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets or make available through your use of the service. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, and display that data solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for obtaining all permissions and notices needed for the data you place into the service.

Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets is read-only with respect to Jira Service Management Assets records in the MVP. It can read Assets data, generate policies, scans, findings, recommendations, status changes, and CSV exports, but it does not create, update, or delete customer Assets objects.

Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets depends on and interoperates with Atlassian services, including Jira Service Management, Jira Service Management Assets, Atlassian Forge, Atlassian account, and Atlassian Marketplace services. Your use of Atlassian services is governed by Atlassian’s separate terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for outages, changes, permissions, data, or actions taken by those providers.

Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets, including its software, branding, documentation, and related materials, is owned by its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service during the period your access is permitted.

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets, we may use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

8. Disclaimers

Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free, or that it will meet every specific workflow, governance, audit, data quality, or compliance requirement you may have.

Findings, scores, workflow impact labels, remediation guidance, and exports are informational. You are responsible for reviewing them before making operational, audit, compliance, or configuration decisions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers for all claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Assets Quality Guard for JSM Assets if we reasonably believe:
